How to measure
For items that call for it, measure the neck where the product will sit, the chest at the point specified by the product chart, and the back from the location identified for that product. Use a flexible measuring tape and record the measurement without relying on a breed label or a previous item's size.
Read the product listing for the measurements it requests. Apparel, collars, harnesses, and decorative accessories may use different reference points. Compare your actual measurement to the chart rather than assuming that a familiar size name fits across products.
Fit and safe use
Introduce a new item while supervising your pet and watch for comfort, movement, rubbing, entanglement, chewing, or distress. Remove the item and stop use if there is a concern. Decorative accessories are not automatically suitable for restraint or chewing, and the site does not offer a universal fit rule for every product or pet.
For cats, use a breakaway option where appropriate rather than treating a decorative collar as interchangeable with one. Consider the actual product design, your cat's circumstances, and the product information. For fit or safety questions specific to your pet, consult an appropriate qualified professional.
